Show Captions setting shows titles

Hello, When I go to Manage Carousels > Styling, I see an option to “Show captions”. After selecting “True” I see the titles of the of images instead of the captions. Is this a possible error on my end or was the intent to show titles?
I am running Logo Carousel v1.7.1.
