• Hello

I just installed the latest version of Ninjaforms and it doesn’t work.

Every time you fill you the form, it just gets stuck at “processing” and nothing happens. I’ve tried enabling/disabling ajax success message, deleting and creating a new admin email and every other trick I could come up with, but it seems like it doesn’t want to send an email regardless of what settings I use.

I’ve also tried installing other plugins as Contact form 7 and they work like a charm, so I doubt it’s a server issue.

Please try out the form at the bottom of the page. When I try to submit, I get this error through the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hide_complete’ of undefined

  • I just updated to the latest version of Ninja Forms and am having this exact same issue. The form gets stuck at processing and in the chrome console I have the “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hide_complete’ of undefined” error. The file that is displayed next to the error is “ninja-forms-display.min.js:1”.

Anyone have any idea as to why this is happening? Thanks…

For others that are having this issue, I uploaded an older version of the ninja-forms-display.min.js file and the form now seems to be working properly. I downloaded the 2.9.17 version of the plugin and used the file from there. Other versions of the file may also work, but that was the plugin version I was on before I upgraded to the latest version of the plugin and I knew that version was working.

Can you link your website so I can ninja the .js file? ??

Hello! You will need to contact the Ninja Forms team directly on this issue by going to Contact the Ninja Forms Team here.

I had this issue and turned out it was a caching problem. If you are using a caching plugin or service like cloudflare, make sure that the JS isn’t being cached.
