Hi Jeff, first thank you so much for the plugin. I am facing a simple problem with the error display. I am talking about the regular error messages that might happen if someone while registering or filling his/her user name didn’t for instance filled up all required fields or simply trying to register again using the same user name. I have no idea what you would you technically call these errors.

Anyway, please check the image link below, instead of showing the proper error message (since I was trying to register again using the same username) the error appears as just red line, rather, if I disable the plugin, wordpress will the show the error message properly.

I look forward for your reply at your earliest convenience.

    thank you,

    Imad Daou

  • Hello
We have the same problem. Only a red box appears-No text.
Do you have any idea what could cause this problem?
    Sincerly

    Sorry-I was to fast…

The Acunetix WP Security PlugIn caused the error.
I UNCHECKED the: Remove login error notifications from front-end-Box and this solved the problem. Keep up the great work and thanks a lot.

Thank you so much Ralf! You have pointed me to on the right direction to fix the problem. Yes, I have Acunetix WP Security Plugin and the “login error notification from the front end” was selected, I unchecked that and still the problem exist.

However, I have another plugin called iThemes Security, and that’s where I need to uncheck the same feature as well, under setting > WordPress Tweaks, scroll all the way down and Uncheck “Disable Login errors messages”.

Again thank you Ralf so much for your help.

THANKS MAN!! That saved my life ??
