Somewhat Complicated Change of URL Desired

  • I’ve read several forum posts, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around how the advice in the posts pertains to my situation… basically, forgive me because I know this question is already asked in one thousand places.

    I have a www.remarpro.com account at thenomadicfarmer.com. I also have a wordpress.com account at ashbruxvoort.com (custom domain name purchased through WordPress.com). What I’m wondering is if I can change my thenomadicfarmer.com Url to ashbruxvoort.com. I don’t care a whole lot about the content on either site as I’m starting from scratch with a completely different brand/concept and can easily save what I want to keep elsewhere.

    You can point either to any nameservers by going to the respective Registrar and doing so, and then (or beforehand) either make a fresh installation of WordPress at the target or update the existing database to receive and use the changed domain URL.
