I don’t have the latest version of WooCommerce though – the site is using 2.0.2. So the only thing that has been changed is that WordPress was updated.
Neotrope – let me ask your opinion on the way the client has their bulk discount applied – they swear it “used” to work.
They have a product that has several variations. Each variation applies a 5% discount based on the quantity. They offer quantities of 1-6, 7-11, and a fixed price for 12+.
Example: Product A with 1-6qty will be $66.03, 7-11qty will be $62.88, and 12+qty will be $59.89.
Product B with 1-6qty will be $51.07, 7-11qty will be $46.43, and 12+qty will be $42.41.
In the “Bulk Discount” settings on the product page “Bulk Discount Enabled” is checked. Next – there is a Discount line for Quantity of 6 and Discount 5. There is a second Discount line for Quantity of 11 and Discount of 5.
In the plugin settings – Bulk Discount globably enabled is checked. Discount type is set for Percentage Discount. Treat product variations separately is also checked (I have tried unchecking this but see no difference in the totals).
Should this work? Or is there a better way to set it up? I am more of a designer than a developer so not a whizz with numbers…
