• Hello,

Can someone please help? We cannot access our backend because of a Brute Force Attack where the bot is attempting to login every 15 minutes creating an invalid attempt which is then not allowing us to login because of to many invalid attempts.

Do we look to move the wp-admin through our hosting provider? The hosting provider has no clue about this. Do we reach out to WordPress?

    Thank you!

  • Hi,

I’d suggest creating a new user, transfer all content to it and delete the old one. If you can’t access your site to do this, then deactivate the plugin via FTP by renaming it’s directory to something like ithemes-security-pro.bak. Once you’re in and made the adjustments you can rename it back to reactivate it.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
