Wrong Email

  • I have a word press site. Apparently I mistyped my email address and I cannot get into my Word Press account. How do I fix this?
    I have my username, but Word Press does NOT recognize my email address .. I am assuming this is my problem as I’ve NEVER received any acknowledgements from WP .. My site does exist and it is “there”, but I cannot get into the account.

    1. Go into your host’s control panel
    2. Find phpMyAdmin and open it
    3. Open your website’s database
    4. Click on the “wp_users” table
    5. Find your incorrect email and edit it there
