Hi Ben – AOL maybe discriminating against your emails because your web server’s ip address may be in its blacklists.

I found this tool online that claims to check this for you; I haven’t used it myself:

    https://postmaster.aol.com/ip-reputation

You’ll need to know your web servers mailing processes ip address, you should be able to get this off an email generated by your website.

I personally integrate my website with an SMTP service. I use Mandrill; it’s free up to 12k emails per month. If I ever need to send more then that I’ll be a happy camper.

The plugin is easy to set up and can offer you some interesting stats on your easy sign up emails. Including bounced, rejected, opened & unopened emails.

    Hi,

No I haven’t tried it yet. Does Mandrill integrate with Easy Sign-up? I.e. will it read the data in there? How does it work? (I’m not real good at this I’m sorry).

I just had a look at wpMandrill and it hasn’t been tested with my version of WordPress so I think I might leave it for now…

Do I need to uninstall Easy Sign-Up? I’ve read the info on wpMandrill, but really don’t understand how it works. Does it do the emailing out of my newsletters etc when someone new signs up, or does it do the whole process (the sign-up forms etc?)

    Thanks,

    Ben

You can definitely use with Easy sign up. wpMandrill Takes over the email creation from your web server.
