I've lost my events after they closed

    I have previously manually entered over 900 events which all ran about a year ago. Since they ran/closed they appear to have disappeared from my site. Did this happen because I did NOT click on reoccurring event?

    Is there a way that I can access and edit the previous events that were entered so that I can simply update the times and dates of the events etc but not have to re-enter them all from scratch again?

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • Events Manager doesn’t automatically delete events, so the chances are you’re not seeing past event because you’re looking at a list that’s listing future events only.

    If you go to Events > Events in admin and change the dropdown filter to All Events, do you see the old events?

    Thanks very much mate i can’t believe i couldn’t find that but i haven’t used the plugin for over a year and feel really clumsy using it again. So if I just change the event dates and registration dates can I reopen the events again as if it were the first time, without having to do anything else?

    Yes, that should work fine. Just make the Booking Cut-Off Date on the Add / Edit Event page isn’t still in the past, or bookings will be listed as being closed.
