How to setup basic two page site, a homepage and a blog page

Hello,

I have basic theme setup, with a header.php, footer.php in my theme folder.

I have a homepage setup as a page in wp-admin.

Can anyone please me how I can add a page of posts, displaying the latest post, with the rest listed below? And link this to a blank blog page I have setup in wp-admin?
