Display excerpt including formatting

  • I am using this plugin to display a “random quote” in the footer; having my quotes in a particular post category. Actually, the plug-in works fine (using WP 4.2.2) … but it would be way better to have the post displayed with formatting (e.g. paragraphs, line-breaks, bold and italic).

    To display the full post, I’m using “display excerpt” + 10.000 characters excerpt length ?? Works.

    But the excerpt should include formatting…
    Can this be achieved? Thank you.
