Can't trigger older Events

  • Hi,
    I have something funny dealing with.
    I’d like to insert events into The Events Calandar (3.10) in the past, e.g. 1989 and 1999.

    Apart of some strange behaviour in the events calendars date field the events will not shown on a page where I tried to embedd the events using Events-Rocket.

    I tried to embedd using Event Rocket (3.0) via name, tags, category – none works ??

    Only by adressing the tag directly it works (URL://events/tagname) – thats o.k. for me, because I can add it in a menuentry and that’s what I wanted to do.

    Seems there is a limit for events in the past and I don’t know is it Event-Rocket or the TEC itself. Maybe misscalulation on dates?

    Any ideas?

    I’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties.

    Often, Event Rocket will default to assuming you are interested in future events. Have you tried specifying from and to parameters, like this?

    [event_embed from="1900-01-01" to="2050-12-31" tags="featured"]

    Event Rocket rocks!!

    This works almost – I should have done it before, because I use the from/to construct on another page – but it shows only 2 o3 test events.
    I need to fiddle a bit more around ??

    Anyway, it is not a problem because the URL://...//tag/tagname construct works well.

    Sure thing – and let me know if I can help further/if it’s looking like changes are needed in terms of how the shortcode queries for events.
