• When trying to log into my wp-admin panel for my site, I get the following message from my chrome browser

    “Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from littlevillagecrafts.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID”

Then, when I click advanced, and it says “This server could not prove that it is littlevillagecrafts.com; its security certificate is from *.hostgator.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.”

Finally, when I click on “Proceed to littlevillagecrafts.com (unsafe)” I’m redirected to a hostgator 404 page.

The weird thing is that this is only happening on my current browser. If I go to firefox or if I go to any other computer and launch chrome, it works fine. I tried to flush my cache and delete cookies, but that did not help.

I actually fixed it a few minutes ago. I had not set up SSL yet but added a woocommerce plugin. Upon deactivating woocommerce, everything started to work fine. I guess I have to set up an SSL certificate first.
