After a customer books a class, paypal sends back the invoice saying we have received payment, but it does not show the correct description. It just has the Shopping Cart title from the general settings.. Not the class title that is put in the shortcode that also shows in the cart when checking out.

    Like this:
    Book This Class!

    Single Painter: $35

    [wp_cart_button name=”Darling Daisies 7/23/15 at 6:30 PM” price=”$35″]

Bring a Friend and Save!: $65

    [wp_cart_button name=”Darling Daisies 7/23/15 at 6:30 PM” price=”$65″]

ALSO… we are NOT receiving emails saying “event has been booked” from the WP Paypal shopping cart settings. So, to sum it up. We are not able to clearly know what exact event is being booked, because Paypal doesnt clearly identify it and we are not getting email notifications either as I have set up in the settings.

Hi, do you have IPN set up in your PayPal account? If you do have IPN setup can you enable debug mode and check the log file.

Once you enable the IPN this should be fixed.

Hello, for some reason my response never went through and i just realized this. What is IPN, is that on the wordpress setting side or on Paypal?

In the wordpress settings I did see something with the IPN that i believe was turned on already?

@ahudler if you have not set up your IPN in PayPal, can you follow the instructions in the link I provided above.

    Thank you

Ok, where do you get the notification URL @mbrsolution

@ahudler that is usually the website that you have a PayPal button. In this case it would be your website.

OK, so i just use my website URL then? I will try that. Ive just seen other online questions making it seem like its a different URL, but no where can I find “where” to find the exact URL
