Hi, I like the look of your calendar – I’m using another calendar at the moment, and not happy with the lack of this function:

I need to have a single calendar (with many categories) shown on 2 separate pages. But on one of the views, I need to EXCLUDE a single category. On the other view, I want to see all of the categories.

    Is this possible?

Oh, and I need to be able to turn off the feature that creates a “post” of an event when you click on it. I’m not sure if the pop-up is a “post”, or if your plugin is already bypassing the “custom post” function.

Thanks a lot for your help!!

    Hey Dave8952,

Chronosly plugin hasn’t categories restrictions. And also you can list your events by categories using Event shortcodes (Go to section “Filter by categories”).

On the other hand, when you say “See all categories” do you mean all you events separated by categories? Unfortunately, if you want this filter isn’t available.

Check Pop-up display FAQ, you can set all your events into this view (by default only calendar).

Please let us know if we have solved all your doubts.

Let’s say that I have 10 categories. I want to show a calendar (in month view) on one page that will show all the events in only 9 categories (I would select the one category they wouldn’t see), and on another page I would show the same calendar, but this time all the events in ALL categories.

    Does that make more sense?

Thanks for your help, I really like your plugin, but this is necessary for my use.

    Yes for sure,
as we said before, you can use event shortcode for calendar and filter by category:

    [chronosly type=”calendar” category=”1,4,7″]

You can also set calendar for all categories.

    [chronosly type=”calendar”]

Chronosly will allow you to include both calendars in same page. However if there are too much events it will take longer to load.

Find all information about calendar shortcodes.

We hope we have solved all your doubts.

I’m having trouble with the category shortcode.

These are my categories: Men, Women, Children, Youth

In your example, you use numbers for categories category="1,4,7".

I can’t find a number associated with my categories. When I use category="Men,Women" nothing shows up on the calendar.

    Thanks for your help!!

    Hey dave8952,
you should set category id no category name. Check this link How to find category ID.

Please, let us know if that information helped you.

Aaaahhhh, that’s it!! Thanks for your help, that works great. Also, are you thinking about having a Sign-Up function for events (where we could list of people signing up for an event)?

Thanks for your help, great plugin!!

    That’s a great news!!!!

About signing up for an event addon, yes, we are focused on developing new tools for ticketing and booking. Unfortunately this addon hasn’t been scheduled.
