quick calendar display widget

  • Is there a way to just display a current month calendar in the sidebar, similar to what the basic calendar widget does? I just want to display a current month calendar for the user’s reference. Most calendar plugins are totally overkill for what I want to do and the basic calendar widget is tied to posts.
