    George, I’m getting a new scrape issue with the meta data. It says:

    og:locale
    {
    “locale”: “en_us”
    }

    It caused my Facebook not to post tonight and it gave me an inferred error issue on the first scrape, then later allowed it. Is there something that I can do in add meta data to get rid of this locale issue? Something I can hardcode in one of the fields?

    Andrew

    Andrew, I’ll be able to check this on Monday. Sorry about that.

    I don’t think there is anything to configure in the settings, since the locale WP generates is already ‘en_US’.

    It does not seem to be related to the plugin. 100% it could not cause issues with auto posting. Please check with the jetpack devs about auto-posting.

    Kind Regards,
    George

    Andrew, Did a quick test. This is the expected output in the debug tool:

    og:locale
    {
    "locale": "en_us"
    }

    For auto-posting please contact the jetpack devs.

    Thanks for the feedback but there is nothing I can do with autoposting problems.

    Marking this topic as resolved.

    Kind Regards,
    George

    Is it normal for that locale field to be “en_us”? What is the locale for?

    Hi Andrew, please do some research about the locale, bud. I haven’t noticed any issues.
