• Hi guys,

an old partner of my company asked me to remove some links in old posts directed to his external_domain, so i executed a query to my DB changing the links (just adding an “s” letter before the domain name) and added a “no_follow” istruction, in my function.php, for all outlinks.
The problem is that ‘old partner’ shown me some links (found with Majestic Seo J) like this:
    https://www.sitename.it/?option=com_jevents&task=day.listevents&Itemid=50&year=2012&month=01&day=02
This pages contains post content preview with no-modified links! (if i try to click and open the posts, the content is correct, modified as i want).

Same issue if i try to use search engine: in results page, if there is a post with an external_link in the preview, it’s unmodified!

So the question is: how it’s possible that i modified all DB-record of the external_domain and this pages still show old links in post preview? How can i edit the links in the preview?

    Thanks in advance

When you did the DB query, did you search all of the tables? It looks like the URL is from a calendar plugin and it’s possible it’s storing info in a separate table.

With an actual URL to your site, it would be easier to provide possible answers rather than just guesses.
