How do I remove the LinkedIn button from Ares (pro)? The organization I’m web designing/webmastering for does not have a LinkedIn, so it seems odd to have that icon at the top of the homepage.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

Side note: @smartcat you really want to clean up the verbiage on this page.

We regularly answer support requests on the plugin/theme www.remarpro.com forums.
Please check the public forum for your plugin or theme for general questions or issues.

It could lead to your customers coming to these forums for support and that’s just not allowed. ??

If you leave the URL of linked blank, it won’t show up.

@jan: yeah forsure i have the support form on the website. the text directing people to the WP forums is for public viewers only, once users are logged in, the form will show up without that text.

the text is more intended for users of my free themes and plugins, however to your point, i’ll definitely re-word the text on the site. Thank you for bringing it up!

@jan I posted my two questions here because I wasn’t sure that the support tickets on @smartcat’s website went through (and there was no alternative contact medium), and because the technical question here is also relevant to the free theme Ares, referred to here.

@smartcat Thank you. That worked. If you could also resolve my other issue posted here in the forum, that would be great!
