Pages extension not working on file upload

  • Hi there,

    I have added the file types to the file upload field and some of the none custom ones such as psd seem to work fine, but for some reason i can’t allow .pages files to be uploaded to the form, i get a “this file type is not allowed” error.

    Here’s my short code i’ve entered:

    [file* file-dbs limit:5000000 txt id:dbs filetypes:jpg|txt|docx|doc|pdf|psd|pages]

    Any suggestions why it won’t accept pages files?

    sorry when i say “none custom ones” i mean the non standard file extensions which contact form 7 allows by default – such as jpg, doc, pdf etc.

    Sounds odd. I made the same file uploading field and tested it with a Pages file, but I didn’t see that error.
