Students page – no students found

  • Hey There,

    I just set up a fresh wordpress and the coursepress plugin. Nothing else to just test the plugin. But I cannot setup new students within the plugin. It always directs me on the wp built in users page. Ok so far. But even if I set up a new student here it does not show up on the students page. So I do not have any overview.

    Can you please help me to solve?

    this url works:
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=students&action=view&student_id=2

    this url not (no students found):
    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=students

    Must be a minor issue.

    Hey there kobobo,

    Hope you’re well today!

    This has already been reported to our developer. The issue is related to the bug that happened on WordPress 4.2.x update. For the time being the only place where you can see the students and assign users to courses would be in the Students tab in specific course in admin as shown in your second screenshot.

    I have the same issue of not being able to see a list of students. Additionally, there is a strange error code that comes up inside the courses when a student works on an assignment. I am hoping that there is a way to fix it. I am also hoping that someone might be willing to post a simple description of how to fix this because I am a novice when it comes to WordPress/Coursepress/website anything really, and my boss has decided it is my responsibility to make the website do what she imagines it should do. So, I’m learning as i go along.

    Hey there FeliciaDoyle,

    We’re currently wrapping up the update for CoursePress that should fix the issue with the students not being displayed there as well as quite a few other fixes.

    If you have any other issues please open a new thread so we can investigate this further.
