This is especially the case on mobile devices that we’ve tested.

Thank you, this is a weird behavior.

Which version of GEO my WP are you using?

Have you added any custom code for GEO my WP?

Version 2.6.0.2 / No custom code.

    Thank you.
How do you have GEO my WP form’s shortcodes setup?

    [gmw map=”form id”]
    [gmw form=”form id”]
    ?

    (@jeremycaris)

    [gmw map=”1″ name=”form_id_1″]
    [gmw form=”1″ name=”form_id_1″]

Can we please try to things?

    1) Change the map setup, in the form editor, so it will show within the search results and remove the [gmw map=”1″ name=”form_id_1″] shortcode.

    2) place the original shortcodes
    [gmw map=”1″ name=”form_id_1″]
    [gmw form=”1″ name=”form_id_1″]
in any other page than the home page.

Let me know if any of the scenarios above work as expected.

    Thanks

I might now where the issue is.

Navigate to the dashboard -> GEO my WP -> Settings -> General Settings tab and check the “Client-side Geocoder” checkbox if not already checked and try the search again.

Checking the client-side geocoder fixed the issue. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Jeremy!
    How are you?
I went on your website (https://ohswestncl.com/) and I see you have my same problem:
when click on the red button, it just disappears and nothing happens… without returning current location…

Tested on firefox, ie and iPhone.

    Do you know why?
    Thanks!

    Hi Widescreen and Jeremy.
It is a bug in GEO my WP when using the icon as the locator button. Untill I get that fixed you can for now set the “Locator button” setting i( in the form editor ) to “within the address field”. This should work for you for now.

    That worked. Thanks!
