Emails not generating after application submission

Hello, I have successfully been able to create job postings on the site, however, once the application is filled out and submitted, I do not receive an email. I set it up to be my email under Job Manager-Settings-Default Email. I also tried putting my email in a specific job posting under Application Email (The email address to notify when an application is submitted for this job). Do you know what may be causing this or why I am not receiving any application submissions to the email address I have listed?
WP: 4.2.1(I think, I know it needs to be updated to 4.2.2 but I am waiting for this to be taken care of)
