This is an internal/intranet site so you cant access it. sorry.

would really appreciate if you could validate for me the import function and/or give me some things to try. i have a newsletter going live on monday.

URGENT: PLEASE HELP. I NEED TO ADD over 800 subscribers for a newsletter, and new Plugin Version has broken the import.

I just now tried the import on another site, with MP v..15. It worked perfectly. I then updated plugin to ….16 and it now doesnt work, same issue as above.

We know that this isn’t a solution, but if it’s really urgent, you could deactivate and delete the current version, and install 2.6.15 to import your users. Your data won’t be lost if you do this procedure through the Plugins menu of your WP Dashboard.

We’ll investigate this issue and get back to you soon on that. Meanwhile, send us some more information about your local host. Server version, Apache or Nginx, MySQL or MariaDB, PHPFPM or HHVM, this sort of stuff will help.

tried that.. Server is having issues ‘uploading’. Can “add new” wp.org directly, but cant upload from my local folder.

I’m commenting on this thread so that I may be notified of a solution via follow-up emails.

I was only minutes away from purchasing a premium package when I discovered the import function does not work. I experienced the same white screen as the author of this post upon importing a CSV file. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling; even the reinstall from scratch option in the settings panel.

I’m in no way hijacking this post. I would just like to let you know that others are experiencing the same problem and I would like to be notified of follow-up posts via email.

As soon as this issue is resolved, I will gladly upgrade to a premium account. Until then, unfortunately, this plugin is of no use to me without the ability to import a subscriber list from my previous newsletter platform.

Thanks so much for the hard work. You are doing wonderful things with the Mail Poet plugin!

OH THANK GOODNESS it’s not just my configuration.

Oh, i mean i’m sorry it’s happened to you of course :/ .. but maybe the folks at MP will take this seriously now that multliple users are reporting.

DEAR MP Developers, WE LOVE OUR MAILPOET.. ?? Please help US ?? !

    thank you -v

?? I know what you mean, I was glad to learn that I wasn’t the only one with the problem too! Were you able to proceed with your newsletter launch yesterday?

I would love an update from the MP team on this. I’m ready to throw money your way to upgrade my account and use your awesome plugin ?? I know premium members get priority with support queries (and I’m glad you operate that way) but I just can’t upgrade until I know this problem is fixed or will be fixed.

    Thanks again!

@vrobertswp your server setup seems fine!

We havent’ been able to reproduce this issue yet.

@bhookedcrochet if you are interested in helping us (and your website is online), can you get in touch with us at https://support.mailpoet.com/contact/ (use the Sales form) and make sure to mention this thread with the link. If we can do some tests on your server we might be able to “fix it” quickly (if it’s really broken).

    Thanks!

    Hi @vrobertswp,

We have been working with @bhookedcrochet and we found out the origin of the issue ??

In short words if your server is running PHP version previous than 5.3, you’ll get this message when you try to import a CSV with the debug mode on:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ')' in /wp-content/plugins/wysija-newsletters/classes/WJ_Import.php on line 468

    Solution:
Ask your hosting provider to update PHP version. We have a guide about that:
    https://support.mailpoet.com/knowledgebase/how-to-prepare-my-site-for-mailpoet-3-0/

    Thanks!
