Footer Menu position

Hi,

I am currently trying to move the position of the menu in the footer of my website. It is in the middle of the page at the moment and I would like to adjust it so it appears in the top left of the footer.

I have tried changing a couple of things in my Child Theme styles.css but have not succeeded so far. Any help would be appreciated. I assume the process will be the same for both header and footer so I will apply the same logic to the header too.
