Searching for a plugin to prevent duplicate image uploads

  • I’m kind of surprised this doesn’t exist…

    I have a WordPress site with several dozen users and I need to prevent them from uploading duplicate images to the site.

    I was looking for something that would run a CRC or something on each uploaded image and compare it against all uploaded images, rejecting anything that is a duplicate, but I can find no such animal.
