• Hello,

I would like to suggest some WordPress coding for dynamic breadcrumbs that can be placed in whatever php file placement that a webmaster wants.

It would be just like the “you are currently browsing…” stuff that’s in WordPress already – but, be more powerful with more options in the admin. itself – for my WordPress sites that are not chronological blogs.

Perhaps this already exists somewhere for WordPress, or can be put together fairly easily if I knew the correct php callers, for the right attributes that I want to be a part of the dynamic breadcrumbs.

I have found a few breadcrumb plug-ins, but most seem have web sites that now to lead to a 404 error, or the coding is now outmoded, etc.

    Thanks!

  • How about this one? Works perfectly fine for me.

Thanks, that is the one that I found too… Later this week I’ll be able to try that plug-in out on the particular job web site that needs it. I’ll give a report back later then…

It looks like the developer is extremely responsive to feedback, so I bet it’ll be good for what I need with dynamic breadcrumbs and what I’ll go with! ??

In the meantime, does anyone else have any other dynamic breadcrumbs ideas for me to try out? Either plug-ins, or “manual” code additions on my own?

    Thanks!
