Contact form map: location on resize should be centered

    Hi, I am using Pinnacle free with the toolkit plugin.
    I created a contact page with a map.
    Upon resizing (ex for mobile or tablet or even a smaller window size on a PC), the map shows the same level (in my test, map zoom level 14), which I am OK with.
    But it does not recenter the map, meaning it shows only the left side of the map where my location is now not shown because the red bullet indicating my location is in the center of the full size map, not the resized one.
    Would it be possible that upon site resize, the map also resize so it shows my location in the center of the map?

  • Hey,
    It’s not really possible. (it’s also not common to resize your page much after it loads).

    The map loads set for the size screen you are using. So if you load the map on mobile then the arrow will be in the middle. It’s only if you load the map and then change your screen size to mobile or something.

    If you feel like this is a common thing I could try and write up a javascript code that would force the map to reload if the screen size changed that would be the only way to trick the map into re-centering, but it could also be strange because if someone is going to change there screen size a little bit it would force the map to reload.

    You answered beautifully. I was resizing my screen, not loading it on my cell or IPad. If I resize and hit ‘F5’, it does center my location, and this is what I need. Thanks!
