New notion of custom posts subset

  • Let’s say, we want to create an image voting site.

    Bear with me, please…

    As a User I want to:
    1. Create a “Poll” that belongs to some category (custom wizard process)
    2. Post an image to any “Poll”, mine and thine (limit of 1 post per user in a Poll)
    3. Rate any image in any “Poll”
    4. See a “Featured Polls” carousel on the front page
    5. See top rated images (overall) on the front page
    6. Browse categories to find Polls
    7. Search for Polls and Posts (with Images)

    The question:
    What’s the best way to do this in WP?
    Will it be to difficult to handle using WP?
