Cannot see plugins from admin panel (left menu)

    I did an upgrade of my wordpress to 4.2.2 and my customised plugin disappear from my left menu… not sure what happened.. have been using the customised plugin for the last 2 years so i really doesnt know what to examine..

    I ftp to my wp-contents/plugins folder and the plugin is there. Deleted it and re-uploaded and still, plugin is not showing up..

    I checked the folder rights and it shows 0755..

    It is just not showing up… help..
