I really like the concept of your plugin, but I’m having a real hard time getting it to work. When editing items on a menu, I have difficulty getting the changes to save. Also, when the menu items are displayed, the thumbnail is only showing a slice of the photo (equal to about the center “one-third” of the image).

Both these problems are making it impossible for me to properly use the plugin.

The items are saved automatically via ajax. You don’t need to push the save button.
The plugin is using the normal thumbnail image that wordpress creates when you upload a new media, that is 150px width. May be you have some plugin that has changed that configuration.
Send me a screenshot to see your problem..

Thanks for your quick response. Media settings for thumbnail size are 150 x 150 px. I am using the same photo in your menu as I did for the Restaurant theme, and the restaurant theme shows the photo properly.

I don’t know if there is anything in my browser that could be causing the AJAX save process to misbehave. I had created one menu that absolutely would not work (would not save updates to description or prices). I finally abandoned that menu in favour of a new one, and that one saves the description and pricing properly, but still not the image.

I can’t see a way to upload a screenshot, so here’s the URL for the image:

And here’s the URL showing a screenshot of the same two menu items when displayed using my WordPress template:

Please, send it to my mail through the web thingsforrestaurants , the support here does not show me the urls..

The plugin is using the medium image size created form the WordPress, not the thumbnail (sorry, I was wrong)
This image is 300px width but you can change it from the admin -> Settings -> Media -> Medium size
I’ll take this into account and will add a new plugin option so the user can select the size.
    Thanks

How to edit the prices of the items?

Open the menu (not Menu Items), and scroll down to the menu item you want to modify. Click the Edit icon for the menu item, change the price, and then remember to click the Save Icon (it looks like a diskette).

After you’ve edited the items you wish to update, remember to SAVE the menu.

Sorry to butt in. I’m so involved as forum moderator and volunteer support tech for a few products I really like, I sometimes get carried away and answer questions that weren’t asked of me! It’s good to see you monitor your support forum so closely.

I have added about 100 menu items. If I click on the Menu, those items are not listed???

@jefromcanada, no problem at all :)… thanks for answering to others, it helps me..:)

@vajresh1981, items are listed. Be sure you are using version 1.3.
You cannot view the menu directly, you have to use the shortcode in a page.

I want to view the list of items & change the item price…

I also want you to see them ?? Could you explain better, thanks.
