Getting the picture to display full-width with no padding on either side

    I am trying to get my pictures (in single posts as well as within sidebar widgets-basically site wide) to display full-width with no padding on either sides.

    I am using Smoothpost 2 Genesis child theme.

    I played with CSS but the only way I can get this to work is to basically change the padding of the whole .entry to 0px. But I like to keep the padding for the content, I just want the pictures to display full-width.

    How would I be able to achieve this?
