Visual Editor not working properly

Basic editor works fine. When I update my profile to use the visual editor when writing I have problems. Note my profile has administrator privileges. Visual editor works fine on my other sites so it’s not my browser settings or security. When I access the visual editor (write post) I see the icons fine and can enter text in title area but not in post area (body). I am getting an error in left bottom corner of IE. Saying basically access is denied to wp-admin/post-new.php. It doesn’t make sense to me given my profile has admin privileges and I can write posts when visual editor is not on?
