WordPress Brand New Plugin HELP! Hangs on updating…

  • Hello there,

    My website is https://www.solestech.com

    its hosted through godaddy

    I had the programmer get paid and not finish so I finished myself. The site came out good. I installed the final piece the brand new updated we ecommerce app (today 3.9.4.). Installed the plugin. Now every time I try to add an item to the cart it adds it but shows the “updating” with the circle. The only way to see what Ive ordered is by clicking on shopping cart. Can someone please help me this has been a nightmare already. 4000$ website built and still have to run an ebay site. Please help!

    Hi David,

    It’s a bit hard to debug based on what I’m seeing on your site so far. There are no major JavaScript errors in the console.

    What can often times happen here is that your website will have “debug” mode on and something in the AJAX request to the server will throw an error or a notice. That notice or error causes the code the site is expecting to be malformed, and therefore, not return the response expected (which would eliminate the “Updating” loop.

    Because I don’t have enough information, I can’t help you in a public forum like this – but if you’re able to email me at justinsainton at gmail dot com with some admin credentials (for WordPress and your FTP information) – I can dig deeper and see what’s going on.

    I emailed you all the pertinent information. Hopefully this will be the last bad experience with this plugin. The Fatal Errors took this website out for over a year before my clients found me. Now down to one last problem and its an easy one, its something im overlooking. Maybe days of digging through the crap he bought for 4g’s has me loopy anyhow please let me know how it goes you have all the logins and passwords needed to access the website sftp and control panel.
