Secondary Menu still covering entire page

Loving Edin more and more. Using it and wordpress to re-build a site I have in Wix. Not happy with Wix or the cost. Anyway, I want the default menu (circle with three lines), but I don’t want to click on it and have the whole page covered. I figured out that I need a secondary menu, and I set it up. It works exactly as it should when I have my customization option menu displayed on the left side, but when I hide the customize menu on the left and then click on my site’s menu, even the secondary one covers the entire content. Isn’t it only supposed to show up across the top of the header?
