Terrible update – What now?

This has got to be one of the worst plugin updates I have gotten in my many years of working with wordpress, and it′s got to be against terms and conditions.
Is there an alternative to this plugin? I would rather pay to not use a developer that changes shortcodes out of the blue and then adds their own shitty little advertisement in the bottom. If this is your marketing plan, then please note that it failed horribly. Mr. Javier Gómez Pose, how can we get the old version back, or can somebody steal his code to make a new one?
