    You are right, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    We will remove the feature that makes it possible to change the subscription state in the WP backend, because it is very difficult to make this work reliably.

    If anybody needs this feature, please let me know.

    We now removed this feature. Please upgrade to the new version.

    More in detail what happened: At some time in the past we added a feature to our plugin, based on a user request. This feature made it possible to change the CM subscription state from the WP User Profile page. This works great as long as you let users unsubscribe via WordPress only.

    However, dual-way synchronization works out to be a bit unreliable in the way we implemented it, so we decided to remove this feature. If anyone uses WP to manage subscription states, let us know and we can think of a better way to make it work reliably.
