WPML translation

  • Two issues: (I’m running PRO)
    1. When saving criteria in a multiset it sometime strips off the 1/2 star rating on a criteria. Example: I put 3 1/2 stars on one of the criteria. Save the file. When I go back to open it it only has 3 stars showing. It is not saving the other 1/2. Sometime I have to save it two or more times for the extra 1/2 to save. Any clue what is happening here. Lots of work going back opening and resaving these on 100 posts. OUCH. Just noticed it recently when our criteria were not showing up right.
    2. I’m running sites in English (primary) and Spanish using WPML. Neither the overall ratings nor any of the criteria copy over to the translated version when we duplicate. I also tried using duplicate post an they don’t copy over on the cloned draft. Is there any way to get the criteria to copy over to a newly created post?

    2) Hi, I’ve no experience with WPML, but I guess that it use differents post id for a post or page. You can check this yourself by trying to edit a post, and then see the link, it should looks like something like this:

    post.php?post=XXX&action=edit

    if the XXX isn’t the same number for english and spanish version this mean that wpml use differents id and we can’t duplicate our rating for both versions.
