    Hey!

I’m trying to upload a CV on my the webpage, and when I press on “submit your application” the form doesn’t send, i don’t receive any e-mail.

But, when I send the form without upload a file CV, it send normally, and I receive the apply confirm email.

Note: I’m attaching a .doc file, I don’t know if maybe the problem is the lack of support in that extensions or something.

I’m looking for an answern on the forums and I don’t find nothing.

I hope you can help me with my problem.

    Thanks a lot !

Have you tried with a PDF file ?

What version MS Word are you using ?

Just wondering if this is something internal with your ISP or server config ?

You did not mention if this a Multi-site install. Have you checked this FAQ out ?

I just tried with a PDF file and it works!
    I’m using word 2010.

I really don’t think it’s a server problem ’cause I’ve another pages and this one is the only that have problems.

I don’t know about the Multi-site topic, is that a wordpress plugin?

Thanks a lot for your time!

No MU is in installation type when you set up WordPress. Single or Multi-site.

Docs are not limited by Job Manager. That’s controlled via your base WP install and what your Server allows via config and or htaccess file.

The reference about Multi-site is an issue some experienced on older servers and this is how it was corrected.

I can’t upload DOC files in WordPress MultiSite
In your WordPress MultiSite admin, go to Site Admin->Options. Update the “Upload File Types” option to include the various extensions (doc, docx, pdf, odt) that people are likely to upload their resume with.
