Need to make some files free for a week & users have to upgrade to avail them

I want to make a members only area where they get certain downloads free for a week and then they update and they have to pay to receive them.

Is it possible using the “membership” plugin ?Hope it is absolutely free

Also would like to know if we can create a forum (using the members) with this plugin
