    Hello,

I have a problem with the time range of my events.
When I fill up the hours in the back office (for example: 10:00 to 12:00), in the front the time increase +2 hours (12:00 to 14:00 instead of 10:00 to 12:00).

I change the time zone UTC in the settings of wordpress, but nothing happens…

Would anyone have a solution? Is this a bug?

    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Sebastien LETT

  • Hi ! I had a similar problem and in turned out to be a conflict with another calendar plugin I am using. To overstate the obvious deactivating plugins to find the conflict.

But there is a manual fix that I use by editing some of the templates…

It works for me… and when ever there is a time change from day light savings time you have to adjust again.

This link shows the method… to edit the when.php template. You also end having to change the associated recurring “when.php” templates also, if you use recurring events.

Of course you will have to re-edit the files when there is an update to this plugin…

AND always backup your database and plugin files before you make changes.

    Hello Robswaimea,

    Thank you for your response.
I applied your solution, but my problem is not resolved…

    Hi Sebastien,

Have you tried changing your timezone to the numerical value instead of the city value under WordPress settings?

    Hi caimin_nwl,

    Thank you for your response.
Yes of course. I tried this, but nothing has changed.

My apologies for not reading your original post correctly.
But to clarify… for my situation.
When I entered an event it posted the time correctly.
It was when I went to edit the event… the time shift occurred.

It sounds like when you enter an event it gets posted incorrectly.
As troublesome as it is… deactivating plugins often shows the problem.

I would concentrate on any plugin that might have anything to do with events or times… or dates… other than the standard WP posts and pages.

I am not part of the support team here… but they do a great job in helping out and hopefully you’ll get it worked out.

    Sebastien,

Have you tested with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme? It might be there’s a conflict happening somewhere.
