how to make translation work?

What did you call your files?

pt_BR.mo and pt_BR.po

do you think i got them wrong?

i figured out what was wrong.

i was putting those files on the wrong folder.

inside the plugins folder theres a languages folder which is the wrong folder.

instead put them on the /wp-content/languages/plugins/

name them easy-image-gallery-pt_BR.mo and easy-image-gallery-pt_BR.po
replace pt_BR with your language. worked for me.
