OG:Description Not Showing Up in Facebook Share

  • Starting May 23rd, 2015, my posts that go automatically to Facebook started showing up differently. Prior to that date, I’d get the 140 character publicize message, the og:description excerpt, my default WP blog picture, the article title, and of course the link that was imbedded in the title. Since that date though, only the 140 character excerpt shows up and an actual URL link to my article along with the picture of my blog. Somehow the excerpt no longer appears, even though the FB debugger tool shows that it’s populating correctly. Has anyone else experienced this recently and have any idea of why it’s happening?

    This is happening to me as well. I set up my blog for auto posting and it seems to be not populating any of the correct information.

    It doesn’t even work when I try to copy and paste the link and share it.. nothing shows up but a link to my website (no image, title or description)

    I have no idea what’s going on here…

    I tried fixing it by adding the All In One SEO plug in to help with my meta tags and keywords (I used the a site crawler and discovered I had virtually none..)

    And this doesn’t seem to do anything.

    Any idea what could be going on??
