Hi there, I’m trying to connect my site to my Facebook page, but when I click “Connect” in the Sharing settings area, I get the following message:

Something which should never happen, happened. Sorry about that. If you try again, maybe it will work.

    Error code: -32300

I’ve tried searching google but have found no resolution for that specific error code so far.

    My site is at https://infinitemonkey.co.nz

    – Thanks in advance for any help.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com. Unfortunately we cannot make any requests to that file at the moment: we receive a 404 error when doing so.

If you use a security plugin to block incoming connections to the file, you’ll need to configure it to allow incoming and outgoing connections to /xmlrpc.php.

If you do not use such plugin, you’ll want to contact your hosting provider and ask them if they currently block access to your site’s XML-RPC file.

I hope this helps. Please get in touch again if you have any questions.
