Calendar Role Cause Permissions to Change

On my theme, “BlackFyre” – if I change a user from “Contributor” to “Calendar Contributor” so they can create events on your plugin, they are no longer given permission to upload a profile image. If I change them back to “Contributor”, they can. Ideas on how to fix this? I don’t want to ditch this calendar, but if the admin is the only one that can create events, it sorta defeats the purpose ?? Thanks!
