False positive for my own IP addres which is logged as HAM

  • Hi,

    I’m using your plugin on several websites with different config:

    Cloudflare + Jetpack comment form
    Cloudflare + standard WP contact form

    I have one site that doesn’t allow me to post a comment if I’m logged out. I disabled also Cloudflare and I’m still getting the warning:

    Cheating huh
    Protected by: AVH First Defense Against Spam

    After this my IP address is logged as HAM. I check also the 3rd party sites and my IP address is not blacklisted.

    I tried the same comment post on all other sites and there is no problem.

    Any idea? Is there a debugging function why this happens?

    Could be a caching problem.

    If you have “Use comment nonce” enabled and you use a caching plugin that’s not supported it could lead to this message.

    Hi Peter,

    I use the same plugin configuration for all the sites and all sites are using SuperCache.
    Does this problem occurs for different types of comment forms, maybe?
