Big problem: I used the option to build a sign up form from the WP plugin to put it in my sidebar. When I try to register a not previously registered email I get the message error (Oops something wrong). I then tried to build a sign up form on Mailchimp website and to embed it in an Text-HTML field on the sidebar: it seems to work but unforunately the subscriber can’t get the email with the confirmation request. No, I won’t paste my URL, privacy reasons. Thanks.

    Hi andreabk,

Without looking at your website it’s hard to say what exactly the issue is. Could you follow the steps listed in this Knowledge Base page and see if that resolves your issue? If that doesn’t help you, maybe you could make some screenshots for us to look at?

    Thanks iMazed,

I checked the page and everything was OK, but I recognized that I didn’t tick the list name in the WP plugin interface/forms (as in the image lined below). It seems to be like a very stupid error, but I guarantee you it took me quite a while to understand. If I may make a suggestion: just make it mandatory for the user to choose a list whenever he is setting up a form. I am glad it’s working, I like MailChimp and it would have been a pity to leave it.
