Gallery becomes corrupt after adding a Featured Image to a post

    If I add a gallery to a post it is fine, but if I then add a featured image, the post becomes corrupt and the gallery code is all broken up and visible between thumbnails. It only does this if I add a featured image after adding the gallery to the post. If I choose the featured image first and then add the gallery to the post it does not happen. I wish I could add a screenshot here. ugh!!
