    Hi,

I’m having trouble finding the css for input field border colors.

I’ve used Fast Secure Contact Form before and I had no trouble changing them from the options you’ve provided, but now after several updates, I just can’t seem to find them.

    I’ve only

Could you please point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Slaystation, which input fields are you referring to?

Click on Styles tab in admin, go to Style of labels, field inputs, buttons, and text:. This is where you will find the setting to style input field border.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

Narrowing it down sure helped and it appears “Input text fields” and “Input textarea fields” are the options. Hope this helps somebody else.

Another issue I’ve encountered – I want to set up a select field with placeholder text.
For example I want the field to read “select an option” and drop down 1 / 2 / 3 options.
I’ve filled the field modifier with “select an option”, checked “hide label” and “default as placeholder” but the form just shows the first option and the 2nd and 3rd as dropdown.

Any thoughts? What am I missing?

    Thanks in advance!

Have you tried the following for Field type: Select?

    [Select an Option]
    Option 1
    Option 2
    Option 3

Still shows “Select an Option” as the 1st option instead of a placeholder.

What if you don’t select placeholder and only have the following as fields. When the visitor clicks on the form they will see the first field that says Select an Option with a dropdown.

    [Select an Option]
    Option 1
    Option 2
    Option 3

I would receive an email with “select an option” or the 1st option preselected and even if the field is required the customer can choose to ignore it so I wouldnt get any real feedback.

I could go with radio buttons but that isn’t as neat and I wouln’t want to fill a whole page with options

Anyway the 1st issue was my main concern.

    Many thanks and best regards!

The first option in brackets can be any text you want. If the field is required and they have not selected an option they cannot complete the submit. It will show a message to make a selection.
