Won't show any images or crop

  • I can’t see any images in the admin tool. When I go to add a header image, it uploads and shows me a broken image in the browser. It won’t let me crop or add it as a header, so I’m stuck. First timer with WP, but have been making websites since 1995, so not sure what I’m doing wrong. Thanks for any help in advance.

  • Can you provide more details?

    It can be very helpful to provide what theme you are using.

    In addition to this, any issue that you may encounter can be tested with the default theme that ships with WordPress. Like the Twenty Fifteen theme. This will help rule out if you are experiencing a theme related issue.

    Can I just swtich back and forth without messing up all the customization with the plugins and such?

    WP had to be reinstalled.
